Myths, folktales or horror stories in which people are turned into, or spliced with animals are a special kind of disturbing.

I thought it would be a fun challenge to paint a human combined with something as pretty and innocuous as a butterfly. Responses to "The Admiral" have so far been lukewarm, but I'm quite proud of him!

This is one of the weirdest things I’ve ever painted. It’s going to be a painting of a damaged painting, with some restoration tools. I was really nervous to tackle it but now that it’s underway I’m getting excited! I’ll likely not get back to it until Friday but I’m really looking forward to adding the painting to the painted canvas 😂

For October this year we did a Simpsons Treehouse (Halloween special) themed piece EVERY day of the month. It was wild! And tough haha 😅 but so fun and worth it.

Sometimes it's cool for the brain to challenge yourself to something, see if you have the discipline to see it to completion. Doesn't always work, but amazing when it does!
