It's a glitchy, experimental trio for flute, clarinet, and MIDI keyboard/Max. There are Morse code and other ham radio samples, electric piano, and bowed cardboard box, and it's surprisingly groovy.
https://youtu.be/WMT1tvrIJWc Getting back into clarinet... only this time I'm getting actual lessons from a professional. Relax to some clarinet, piano and guitar music. Anyone wanting me to make more of this, let me know. #music#clarinet#guitar#piano
After missing one or two due to travel, got to take the 14yo to #clarinet. It’s wonderful to spend time together before and after.
Making the whole trip on #MUNI trains and buses really does make it easy. (Although they change the temporary 48 stop at #WestPortal so often it makes my head spin.)
All this during a break in the rain! (It can resume tomorrow with my blessing!)

Taking #PublicTransportation with the 14yo to #clarinet & back home after school = really nice time together. For both of us, I think. Ends w/ HS. ☹️
A passion project at work - building for the past seven years - is getting real support & a higher profile. After all this time plugging away in semi-obscurity, it seems barely real yet, but daring to hope!
Got to entice a retired but respected colleague (voluntarily) out of retirement to help with said project!
Fun photography of singer & musician Fiona Fey pretending to toot her Clarinet at Tooting Bec London Underground station. This has been on my photo pun list for a while, so I'm very pleased to finally get the shot.
of any value? My idea is to start rehearsing with one of those, replace the mouthpiece (with a Rico C5 or so, how to measure the size?)
-> and later go Yamaha or so?
Does that make sense?
Thanks much in advance.
The inside of a Buffet Bass Clarinet could easily be a scene from a Kubrick film...
This is a model 1193 with a low C, a soloist instrument seen in almost every major symphony orchestra worldwide.
A few hundred shots have been stacked together in this image to keep focus clear from front to back. That, combined with the wide angle, gives this photo its sense of scale.
