this is a cover of the O'Jay's song but, as a preteen growing up in Jamaica's little-sister island of Puerto Rico, their reggae-fusion disco cover was a MONSTER HIT in the era of salsa inspired disco. we love us some reggae in the Pearl of the Caribbean.

Found this at a shop that sells camping gear, used stereos, and vinyl. They have an old lazy dog that naps by the door to greet customers. All fits with the mood of this one.
