Die gerade einsetzende Dynamik relevanter Teile der Wissenschafts-Bubble von #eXtwitter Richtung #bluesky statt #Mastodon macht mich wieder mal ratlos.
Ich vermute hier ähnliche Mechanismen wie bei Open Access: Mensch weiß schon irgendwie, dass es besser wäre, aber die oft prekäre Gesamtsituation führt zu einem strukturkonservativem Verhalten.
Mein letzter Beitrag auf Twitter war im Februar diesen Jahres. Ich habe meinen Twitter-Account jetzt „deaktiviert“ (gelöscht). Mit dem Nachfolger von Twitter möchte ich nicht in Verbindung gebracht werden.

I have other news for Musk. The videos part of the "X Everything App" has an existing website as well called XVideos (NSFW obviously) which has a dot-com address and probably trademarked too. I imagine XPics, XChat, etc. has similar issues in the adult entertainment demographic. If it doesn't it will from Unix/XWindows or XBox world. When he tried this shit back in the PayPal days he was literally kicked out of the company after they finally convinced him to take a vacation. With teams of sycophants and bobbleheads nothing stops his juvenile impulses. So wait, they essentially bogarted the X Windows logo for their "new cutting edge disruptive" relabeling of Twitter to X (very original name I all by itself, I know!). LOL. I hope someone internal to the company did it because a vendor sure as hell isn't going to get paid for that, just like the rest of his vendors get stiffed for everything else. Poor Linda Yaccarino had to defile herself with that cringy over the top buzzword bingo tweet (or whatever they are calling it over there now) on top of that.
