After months, I finally started seeing Cybertrucks in real life. I have to hand it to Elon and Tesla: there is some impressive design and engineering here. Specifically, they have created a vehicle that is impossible to photograph, because none of the pictures of this thing convey just how butt-ugly it is in real life.

The first time I saw one, earlier this month, was head-on, parked facing out in a parking structure, and my brain had a hard time resolving it as an object.

@maxleibman are they driven by someone or they just wander around driverlessly?😵

@GelatDeTramussos The one I've seen in motion had someone driving and I believe he was in control at the time and just being an inattentive a-hole. The other one was parked, which the only driverless mode I trust Elon with building safely.

Oh look, another Elon company stiffing its contractors.

“Texas property records show that Hydroz is one of more than two dozen companies that have filed at least 72 liens since 2019 against sites developed by SpaceX and its contractors. Combined, Reuters found, the liens have sought payments totaling more than $2.5 million.”

Oh wow, no way, I thought firing everyone in the Supercharger division was a deliberate, well-thought-out decision!

Elon is not God. He’s not even all that intelligent. He just has the ability to con people. Remind you of anyone else?

"Fun" fact: #ElonMusk's compensation plan, expected to be approved by the combination of retail shareholder enablers and the fact that many major market funds don't vote their shares, would be enough to pay 6-figure salaries to all ~14000 recently laid-off employees for 40 years.

Elon Musk has claimed that the 2024 presidential election would likely be the last to be decided by US citizens, blaming an “influx” of illegal immigrants being allowed to vote.

Luckily 💩 is never right about anything..😂

The entire net profit of tesla, since its first profit in 2020, is about $35 billion.

Their entire net profit, since the beginning.

Musk's compensation plan, that shareholders are being asked to approve, is worth today about $45 billion.

Profits from last quarter have fallen 55%, mainly because of Elon, btw.

Tesla cuts all but 3 of its 3,400 listed jobs in North America

The company went through a wave of layoffs, which CEO Elon Musk described as "hard core," and saw at least six executives leave. In a series of back-to-back blows, the company's first-quarter earnings missed estimates by nearly every measure, it recalled nearly 4,000 Cybertrucks, and it entered a price war with Chinese EV rivals teaming up against the company.

Neuralink's brain-chip implant malfunctioned, and the company reportedly considered removing it from its human patient

The retraction of some of the threads caused the electrodes in the device to be less effective, Neuralink said. It said it had since made tweaks which in turn "produced a rapid and sustained improvement in BPS, that has now superseded Noland's initial performance."

Never let mess with your brain..
