So, last month I got an opportunity to get an awesome dummy head for binaural recordings, along with a neat tripod from https://sr3d.co.uk and I've been using it ever since with my Zoom F3 recorder to provide some awesome ambiences from my place when I have the time and motivation. I noticed however that some sounds, especially glass plates clinking, even a loud clap in my hands, would often cause a very strange distortion, so I set out to find what the hell was going on. #binaural#binauralaudio#fieldrecording#pipewire
'construída 4': The fourth volume of #ScatterArchive’s ongoing series of 'construída' compilations featuring current women sound artists from Brazil - featuring Renata Roman, Paola Ribeiro, Laura.aLL [Laura Leiner]
It's once again that time of the year, the time to record the national holiday's fireworks in the nearest city to my town has arrived.
So I've fully charged my 20000 mAh powerbank, verified that my 128 gb micro sd card is working as expected, made sure to connect the bluetooth dongle of my zoom f3 already, ensured my mics are still working good...
Thrilled to say that my latest work, ‘Four Unbindings‘ is out for preorder today on Richard Chartier’s excellent label, LINE. It's an honour to be on the LINE roster for this release. Many thanks to Richard, and to @room40 for the consistently lovely work on mastering!
I’ll have more to say about the work in the coming weeks, but for now, I hope you’ll head on over to Bandcamp:
