Good morning and happy Friday

Let me hear what your day will consist of today and what you might have planned for the weekend ahead.

It's work stuff today as usual which isn't too busy as things have finally calmed down since our major release of Nova 8 a couple of weeks ago.

I started Ghost of Tsushima this morning, so more of that later as well as Fortnite with friends. Nothing much for the weekend yet.

I'm not sure if this is my first ranked Victory Royale in , but it certainly is since I got into diamond. It is definitely the first time I got the "There's no time" accolade for winning without reloading a single time (I didn't shoot at anyone at all till the top ten, and then took weapons from the two people I did kill).

The match statistics page after the game. Showing all the stats and achievements. I have 2 eliminations. My accuracy was only 27% because one guy at the end was zooming around with at least three medals. Amongst the accolades is "There's no time: win a match without reloading"
The ranked recap screen with my level shooting up 47% into Diamond III. It shows one kill of the number 9 player, but I took the screenshot too early and it also listed that I killed the number three player.

For me, it's the usual work stuff today along with editing a huge database that we're working on. I also have all the email stuff as well.

Fortnite with friends tonight as we normally do and then not much of anything else.

I got exasperated last night playing duos. I eliminated one person, but was knocked down by their teammate in a fish lady skin who had with her. My friend finally arrives, and despite me telling him to shoot the fish lady, he starts to fire at Chewbacca instead, and the other player quickly shoots him and eliminates us.

I was all like "Why were you shooting Chewbacca? I told you not to shoot Chewbacca", and he actually said "I couldn't tell which one was Chewbacca."

It's a new day, so let's all discuss what the day has in store for each of us.

For me, it's just the usual work stuff. It's super busy today and will be for the next several days due to us releasing Nova 8.0.16 to the stable channel with a 30% staged roll out. Lots of emails coming in.

Fortnite with friends tonight and not much else beyond that.

Phew! I did it! I survived 30 waves of a mode called “endurance” in a game called Save the World.

This mode requires lots of design and engineering mastery. And some snacks. 😂

It’s designed to be played with four people. I soloed it and it took me about 2.5 hours.

For me, I wrote a review article that I'll be publishing here shortly and of course have the usual work stuff, with no meetings, thankfully.

For me, it's work stuff with a meeting at 12pm EST. The wife and I will be cooking some burgers on the grill today and then of course we have the eclipse as we're in the path of 82.5% totality.

Trying to set up two users on a single to play (at different times). Each Switch user has its own Nintendo acct and each has its own acct. The first user I've played for years. The second (which I added to online family membership I might not have needed?) I linked the user acct to Nintendo, linked Epic to Nintendo, tried to play but Fortnite says Epic "account already registered". Are two even poss on a single device?! Why is this so awkward?! 😿

I've finally gotten into playing . I wasn't expecting so much of the game to be sitting around patently waiting in picturesque landscapes watching the sunlight shine down through gaps in the clouds over varied lush ecosystems.

My character similarly crouching down, but this time on a lush grassy hill under a tree. Directly ahead is another stream with trees, but in the background are stony hills with a big statue of a greek god pointing down at some ruins.
My character again crouched on a hill, this time his is in the shadow of some clouds and all the trees are pine trees. Across a ravine, a train makes its way to a station where is will slow briefly. There are three green skulls behind my character, indicating that I have three double jumps stored up, which is a think they are doing this season.

I played my last match of 'Fortnite' Chatper 5, Season 1 last night, and one (Zero Build Solo, 17 eliminations). After a looonnngg wait this evening, I finally got in and won my first match of Season 2 (15 eliminations).

So far, not much to say about the new season, except that I didn't see a single motorcycle and I'll be kind of bummed if they took those out.

Now that Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2 is about to begin here in a couple of hours or so, I thought I'd post my Chapter 5: Season 1 stats.

I don't play this game nearly as much as I once used to do back in the early days, but still got a few hours of game play in this season.
