Question: If someone is Nonbinary, does that mean that calling them Cis is incorrect?
Can a person be Cis and Nonbinary?
Does the LQueerness/ LGBTQIA+ of the person affect their Cis status ?

A church in North Texas has established a new non-profit (The North Texas TRANSportation Network (NTTN)) to assist families of transgender and gender-diverse youngsters in obtaining out-of-state healthcare.
NTTN will gather funds to assist families of children who require access to an out-of-state doctor.
Why am I not out to my family? I know they'll accept me. I know they basically know already. So why can't I just be out?
I am out as queer in my attraction, but not my gender identity. I don't quite know what's stopping me. Maybe I'm afraid things will change. They already treat me how I want to be. I don't have it in me to explain my complex lack of gender. I don't even understand it myself.
Maybe its because I think they'll still silently not believe it. They'll say the right things but they'll still see me as a woman. And if I haven't come out, I don't have to confront the pain that they don't believe me. Currently they are just mistaken, but if I tell them, it becomes willful and more hurtful to me.
I think I also am waiting for something to shift so I can have a nice clean label. I feel like if I can't give them a simple label like non-binary, or trans man, that they'll believe me even less. I don't want to be humoured. I want to be actually seen and believed to be me. Most cis people don't really accept, "Im trans, I don't have a gender but it's complicated and depends, and I also don't know".
I am so so tired. Coming out to two family members feels so far down my list of priorities. I don't even have the energy to make myself food half the time. To brush my teeth and walk my dog. I am just surviving. My life is consumed by fatigue, so I just put off hard conversations that aren't urgent.

I had the opportunity to assist in running a huge #MagicTheGathering tournament in #DurhamNC over the weekend.
I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of freeing and open!
Most of the people I talked to were nice and wonderful.
As I was working with @extraliferdu collecting donations, so many people were donating to support the cause and a few donated their winnings to help sick and injured kids in the community!
Also, the #LGBTQIAPlus representation was amazing! It felt like the safest place to be given this is North Carolina!
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has issued a new policy regarding trans players, stating that trans women have "no right to participate in official FIDE events for women until further FIDE's decision is made." Two years have been set aside for "further analysis" by the organization. Until then, trans women will have to participate in the open division.
