Most compelling yet 🤣 But at the same time, I have to doff my hat to the Nessy Industry, still going after all these years and bring tourist's aplenty.
A search for the Loch Ness Monster ends without evidence of existence.
The biggest Loch Ness Monster hunt in over half a century has resulted in several reports of possible sightings but nothing conclusive. The evaluation of the data would take a lot of time, the organisers said.
I mean, is it just scientists want to do some science thing and they need funding and sponsorship so they pitch it as:
We looking for monster!
And the media buy it (or pretend to) and everyone is distracted and the most that will come out of it will be some useful science about water pH twenty miles down or something.

A massive hunt for the fabled Loch Ness Monster got started this weekend. Maybe it’s just a good excuse to deploy thermal drones. Gizmodo explains how an independent research team will attempt to detect any heat signatures lurking beneath the surface. https://flip.it/ixiADk #Culture#LochNessMonster#Myth#CryptoZoology
I get wanting the #mystery, but the notion of the #LochNessMonster is absurd. There isn't some giant unknown #species lurking beneath the waves of Loch Ness. There can't be. For there to be a #creature, there has to be a #population that has proliferated and thrived for many, many years. It would have to be a large population with biological diversity that exists as part of a larger food chain. If it was real, there would diverse evidence of the species, but there's not.
#Drones galore and other sensors, if I were #Nessie I'd go into hiding quick 😬
"Organised by the newly revamped #LochNessCentre, volunteers from across the globe will participate in person and online in what is believed to be the largest surface watch, searching for breaks in the water and any inexplicable movements over a two-day period." #CryptoZoology#LochNess#Legends
We, I’m back. The server I was on previously folded without letting me know. Anyway here’s one of my recent Loch Ness pics. #lochnessmonster#cryptozoology
Happy Tuesday.
I remain annoyed that dumbasses commandeered the root of a word that my goth, mystery-loving self used to use joyously and has now become tainted thanks to those same crypto-bros. I hope Mothman eats all you sad, desperate grifters.
