While I don't use R often in my line of work, I still see myself as a data scientist. 🤓 📊
To me, the tools don't entirely define someone, but the mindset, knowledge, and way of seeing things does. Tools complement the person the way a hammer helps one build a house more easily. They don't substitute for critical thinking, knowledge, and experience.
"Apparently, for some people like #SamAltman and his fans, the act of generating content, no matter how garbage or senseless, is an impressive outcome:
"#openai now generates about 100 billion words per day. all people on earth generate about 100 trillion words per day."
And with this #mindset, they influence others to follow them, get impressed and feel the urge to use their tools!"
Despair's cure? Hope, say experts. A powerful mindset, essential and learnable, even when darkness looms. "Hope is how we think," argues psychologist Chan Hellman. "We can nurture it, not just find it."
At one point in my past, I had experienced “George Bailey on a bridge on Christmas Eve’ levels of despair. I was in a really dark space mentally, and wasn’t sure if I would or could ever be happy again.
But I could, and I am. Here’s how I did it, and how I can help you:
@collin Never felt/feel as "old" as the people in "my age" and the way they use to think.#mindset 😬 Still don't think of myself as "an adult" or even an elder.🤔 When the people i was on tour with started to be in an age they could've been my grandkids... i still felt the same way.🤔
So that Baby Boomer box doesn't fit at all, not even close in any way (thinking, music i am listening to....). Although... my body starts to slowly agree 😉 i am not sure what box i'd tick considering how old i feel or see myself.
Some physical tasks exhilarate us; others, drain/wear us out.
👉Our EMOTIONAL/MENTAL states are similar. Feelings/behaviors can rev us up or, we may crash & burn from them.
When U look at this tree, U can discern where you're standing right now. Are U more like the withered barren tree on the left; or, are U more like the flourishing one on the right w/plush green leaves?

I made a LinkedIn post asking for feedback on a course I'm making and the amount of people who showed up in the replies to shamelessly promote competing courses was surprising
@malwaretech LinkedIn users (who use it as their 'main' social media) always seem to be on the #Grindset#Mindset so any comment is an excuse to push their course, from what Ive seen anyway
