The magnificent Norman arch in the wall of St Ninian's Church, Lamington, near the A702 south-west of Biggar in Lanarkshire. This is almost all that remains of a much earlier church that was swallowed up when a new one was built in 1721. More pics and info https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/biggar/stninians/index.html

The magnificent blind arches decorating the exterior of St Athernase Church in Leuchars, Fife. Built nearly 840 years ago, the arches have been described as "the second finest piece of Norman work in the whole of Great Britain". 8/ Not quite as far away with this one, & while a first time in Chester 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 might not seem quite as exciting as some of the others on this list, as well as the amphitheatre & walls, managed to at last complete my punch card of Norman Cathedrals in England 😊

the font at St Mary's Luppitt in Devon, described variously as '
or late ' with vivid carvings of beasts and combat

the northern face with the sharp teeth of a beast and a centaur holding a spear
a scene of combat on the eastern face
an oversized stylised face on the north western corner

its even more askew when you're there in person, love it to bits, its sort of a shame that the outside looks a lot more sanded down
