Darn, new #queen ($$ experiment with a varrhoa resistant Italian queen) and small amount of bees absconded... Couldn't hold off the #ants -- another #beekeeping#failure -- no idea where they went, either, so can't try to gather them up.
It's not the best album, by a long way, and it definitely introduces a different sound to the band (partly due to having dispensed once and for all with the "no synths" rule) but I've never thought it's as bad as many hardcore fans make out.
Hi my #Queen posse! I'm doing a 3-song set at an open mic tomorrow, and I'm going to sing Somebody to Love, and 'That Ole Devil Called Love' as my token non-Queen song. What other Queen song should I sing?
I usually do Melancholy Blues, but it might be too similar in vibe to Ole Devil, so looking for an alternative. I'd love your opinions, deep cuts included!
After a hard days work, finally some time to rest in my hammock and thinking about my #TuneTuesday contribution this week for @SimoRavens19 prompt: a song from an artist's first and one from their last album. #MusicEvolution
Here's today's #dragqueen#lovefest 👑💄💋 (# 127)
This fabulous #queen is Pixie Polite, @PolitePixie & she's giving me Spiny Orb Weaver vibes in this shot 😍 & I'm living for it!
These are bloody marvellous. Marci G DiMarco playing snippets from Queen songs on his custom Brian May replica guitar. Samples below. Many more on his YouTube channel.
"On a fair day in 1838, barely two years into Queen Victoria’s reign [...] a young, confident and handsome Mississauga Ojibway chief named Kahkewaquonaby [...] came knocking at the doors of Windsor Castle dressed in his finest leather from head to toe and asked to make an appeal to his Sovereign. The door was opened and tea and sympathy were offered. [...] The Queen promised to look into the request and in due course the deeds were handed over."
