TIL that the Taj Mahal was built between 1631–1653.

I didn’t even consider it could be that old. I just assumed it was from the 1800s. I need to read a good history of India.

BTW Learning this was a result of listening to the No Balls podcast.

I took this last year, while I was traveling the Golden Triangle. The Taj Mahal was built between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife.
