This is a black #wolf I photographed years ago. He was walking towards us, head down, and limping a little. When he noticed my husband and me with our two dogs he stared for a moment then trotted off across a field and went into the forest. What a memory! I've cropped the photo down quite a bit...

Charles Perrault wrote one of the oldest versions of the tale in 1697 & here both the #grandmother & the #girl get eaten by the #wolf - no happy ending.
This version is also rather #sexual & is meant to be a moral tale for young girls not to be naïve.
The #French version also mentions that she wears a "chaperon", not a mere hood. A chaperon is a short cape with a hood attached.
Abgesehen davon, dass Anpfloghaltung bei Schafen seit Jahren Tierschutz-rechtlich verboten ist, gibt es mehrere Sichtungen von durchziehenden Wölfen in den letzten Monaten in der Gegend. Die Schafe sind auf einem kleinen Grünstreifen zwischen einem Wald und Rapsfeldern angepflogt. Wenn ein #Wolf die entdeckt, sind sie ein gefundenes fressen. 🙁 #Mittelsachsen#verantwortungslos
