I know this wil probably be a longshot, but honestly at this point, I'm putting it out there for anyone who is a#coder. For the past almost 2 years, my team and I have been working on a project to make #YuGiOh accessible to the blind. We started by taking an open-source visual client and addign accessibility to it. The project is strong and while small, our community is growing to be a great place for blind people to learn how to duel and also make great connections. My post concerns the client, as so far, we really only have 1 coder working to make the project a success, and I know that he's definitely quite busy. This was a volunteer type of thing from the start, and I know he's taking of his time to make this a success, but I know he could use some help. Please, if you know #C-Sharp or anything like it, reach out to me, we need help. The project is open-source and the code is literally ready for modification if needed, we just don't have anyone else who knows how to code. Anything would help honestly at this point. Like I said, I know this is a long-shot, but I wouldn't be putting this out there if I didn't believe we could make the project a success. Would be nice if you also knew about screen readers and how they work, but we'll take anyone at this point, screen reader experienced or not, Hell, our coder even now wasn't before the project started.
Well folks, I just got given the go-ahead to mention this. I am currently testing a mod for #YuGiOh Master Duel that allows the blind to play via the use of text to clipboard via NVDA. its working quite well I must ssay, made it to Bronze Teer 3 so far which I know probably isn't very far, and I still only have my starter deck and my Blue-Eyes deck, but it looks more than just promising. Is it hard at first... yes, does it get easier to duel and know what's going on? Also yes, hardest part at first is knowing the layout of your field and hand, but once you got it your basically set.
Any #Modders out there and generally people out there, Please boost this. I am looking to find a modder out there who might be able to create a mod for YuGiOH Duel Links using something like Auto-hotkey to use the mouse to drag cards in to the right place using the keyboard to perform the actions, and some kind of way to obtain text directly from the game so that we can use it with a clipboard to text reader to read the incoming text that comes in while we are Dueling. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for this to be made and we can negotiate good terms. Please, if anyone is interested who knows about auto-hotkey and clipboard to text or is confident in knowing how to code this, reach out. I have no idea how to code anything, so I figure the best way is to pay someone to do what I can't. If you want an example of this, there is already a mod that does similar things with YuGiOh Master Duel and a lot of us blind people are already dueling on there as a result, just without keyboard support for MD, we are using controllers to navigate the field. #YuGiOh#Modding#Mods#PC#PCGaming#Blind#accessibility#a11y#DuelLinks
the #MasterDuel mod for accessibility has been officially released! I will provide a link to my discord server for anyone who wants to try it out. You will need a controller of some kind, Master Duel doesn't have keyboard support. Will be willing to answer questions, you will also need an add-on for NVDA that can read clipboard text and maybe Speech history if you mis any incoming text. Look out here soon for the link. #Blind#YuGiOh#YuGiOhMasterDuel#accessibility#a11y
Any #YuGiOh Duelists know of a way to convert a Ydkey code in to an .YDK file? I have a lot of decks that I want to convert to .ydk files so i can use them in Edopro but I can't because right now, its broken on my end at least, so i figure a way to get around that is to just add them to the decks folder. Any ideas?

hey, i'm orion. i'm an internet weirdperson by day and a professional grasstoucher by day
i do art. i also, coincidentally, do things with that art such as posting it on the internet sometimes. when i'm not posting art, i'm talking about the #yugioh tcg and playing on a #ttrpg stream about cards on motorcycles
im a #writer, doujin collector, coder, and lover of fan events. i also really enjoy #cooking and like thinking about ways i can make signature dishes for characters 🍳🐀. sometimes i #needlefelt too!

Wilds of Eldraine is helping me a lot to heal from past events. It's so much more relaxing to see someone play an Ash, compared to my time playing Yu-Gi-Oh.
Always wondering about the lack of language barriers. #yugiohdm has Bandit Keith, an American you wouldn’t think would care to learn a foreign language. But apparently he had the time to while he was drinking himself under the table.
Word to the wise: Never play a game you love with a #nerd. They will have optimized the game to the point that all of your favorite characters and strategies are complete garbage, and the only way to win is to break your thumbs on the controller, or prevent your opponent from playing at all. Fun was never an option.
