Okay, what is the point in getting an XBox when they are going to crack down on what controls you can use.

@chikorita157 Copyright is theft. It steals from the public domain and prohibits the masses from being able to make their own derivative works.

Short of governments able to scan everyone's computers all the time, LLM "AI" will exist. The only question is: should everyone have access to it or should only massive corporations (Twitter, Google, film studios), that scrape user/employee data as part of the TOS/employment contract.

Watched the season 2 finale of Wheel of Time and am delighted with how cathartic it was.

There's a lot of goodwill that a story can curry by just refusing to force liberal tropes in contexts where they're morally abhorrent. We've all grown up pickled in deontological and virtue ideologies that act like choosing bloodshed over forgiveness is some deep scarring of your soul, but sometimes slave owners really really really need to die and it's beyond grotesque and repugnant to do anything else.

The book series is literally unreadable with its presentation: You basically need to consult the glossary every time the story randomly shifts to a PoV character that hasn't even been mentioned in 3 books just to know who the fuck this minor girlmage is as compared to one of the other minor girlmages.

I don't even know which book I stopped reading at (7? 10?), but it was 3 books less than most of my friends.

    I'm in Love with the Villainess episode 1:

    Hmmm... it has funny moments, but a full length episode just felt like too much by the end. Not sure if the show will slow its pacing a little as it goes on... but could have used this as maybe a 12 min per episode show. That way the jokes don't get to repetitive in a single sitting.

    I'll give this one more episode to make a decision on it.

    @gnitro I'm a big fan of the light novel and checked out the manga, and it certainly gets more serious when it gets deeper in.
    Sadly that hasn't happened by the end of episode 2.
