Today I planted a clematis (white montana) against the cherry tree, and replaced the plum tree which didn't survive last year.

"Sowed" a load of wild flowers a couple of weeks ago - waiting to see if they can outcompete the "weeds" (def. Weed - a plant in the wrong place)
