And my attempt to go to bed early in order to get up an work on things in the morning has utterly failed. But I took progesterone two hours ago or so, so i don't trust myself to think clearly or express thoughts accurately.

Meanwhile, my brain is looking for stimulus instead of going to sleep and just picking arguments with every person I've ever interacted with in the last decade or two instead....ugh.

Anyone know where i can get a new brain? Pretty sure this one is damaged beyond repair

I have a pointless amount of headcanon about this movie. Not the least of which being the IT crowd shutting down everything as fast as they can in order to get the situation under control, followed by slowly picking the pieces back up and putting shit back together.

And when they're doing that they find out that Computer has been fucked up for a while. Like, seriously for a while, and that's why there are big sections of the city which are broken and so on.

So. What was supposed to be happening?

    TRANS FEM FRIENDS: What do you wish you could say to the person you were before transition who thought it was impossible to ever actually be a girl or be fem?

    I sometimes think back and find myself at a loss at what would have supported that girl best. She was so sad, hopeless, and often dissociated or in fight/flight/freeze/fawn over her distress with how she felt like she couldn't fit in the world. And like, I know "it gets better" or "it really is possible" wouldn't have gotten through.

    I talk to a lot of young trans folks who go through this still every day, and so would appreciate others thoughts on this!

    I can't really boost posts about Google search's treatment of AI-generated crap for obvious reasons (for one I have no idea what goes on in Search), but I also hope that recent reporting prompts them to focus even more on search result quality.

    The reality is: this is very hard! Search providers have always been in a brutal war with SEO spam and ad farms, it's just that with LLMs the spammers have an order of magnitude more firepower than they used to.
