The Twillingate tank top is blocked & ready to wear. The potato sack has all its i cords grafted & bits woven, so is next up to be blocked. Both Jennifer Beale patterns. Will probably do them again, but amend them as well, becuz - my brain. @knitting

First nachtvlinder flowers fully open. If you look closely, you can see the bit of blue in the centres. Such a lovely salvia, purported to help reduce black spot on roses when underplated, & smells like lemon when you brush your hands over it. One of those plants I always have to have. @gardening

After we moved in last fall, the landlord covered the outside spaces in gravel, despite us swearing we loved to garden. Noticed these 2 little crocus that somehow found enough soil in the gravel (which was laid on plastic sheeting 💀 ) to flourish. Not sure where they came from, but I will definitely lift these & put them in one of my pots for when we move from this hellscape. @gardening

Outside daytime. Same crocus taken from further back to show another bud coming up the the gravel to its right.

The camillia going mad. This was a little tiny twig in a pot from Sainsbury's my son bought for me 2 years ago. It's done well for itself @gardening

Every year I let the bindweed bloom. Not because I forget but because I tell myself it won't be that bad to tear out after I get to see these fab flowers. What a nut. It isn't that easy taking out bindweed. And the poor Japanese anemone! @gardening

Good morning! Saga was disturbed that this sunflower, which she's seen grow from a seed, opened. As with all new things Saga barks at, I touched it, she sniffed it, realised it was a plant, not a face, & went on about her day. Her little brain is a bit different.

Started a book gifted to me from last Christmas this morning. Very interesting, really quick read, great photos & illustrations. A joy. Noticed on Storygraph that it has a different title, Remarkable Diaries.

2nd pair of socks for the dog walker. The yarn is self striping. This is a free pattern which gives the socks a thermal texture. Great for those long treks through the woods chasing our dogs. @knitting
