Any OpenSCAD Wizards out there?

I printed the "OK Trophy" but it feels a little fragile and I need to take it on a train .... so I thought I'd make a presentation box!

Easy right, get the STLs, import to OpenSCAD, scale slightly so there is a little spae, use "difference" to subtract from a cube and print!

But the dude is hollow so it's not giving me a void.

How do I make him solid?

How else is an admin supposed to debug issues? On the live server?
I'm sure there are ways but they are going to be painful, slow, and maybe not representative of the issue under investigation.

Beware that newer/recently updated mobile phones may automatically dial 999/112/911/000 etc if the power button is pressed rapidly 5 times (they may also make a loud alarm noise). This can also send your physical location to cops, which you may not want!

It is possible to switch off this emergency feature altogether, or route it to share you location with trusted contacts (this does nudge both you and the recipient to share more location data with Google)

@jasonnab @vfrmedia it does. Just tried it. It opened the camera too so I had my phone screaming at me and I couldn't cancel the call because the camera was open!
Good job I changed the number to my wife before testing :alex_grimace:

@jasonnab @vfrmedia yes, 5 presses and it starts making a loud noise and then will call the number you set.

The unset/default value for me is 999

You can disable the countdown and the entire feature.

I have been using a $100 temporary Android phone while waiting for my fancy phone to get replaced under warranty and the experience with the stock OS is just so so bad. Like barely usable most of the time. Even the GPS and wifi don't work well.

Most people worldwide use cheap Android phones on old versions of the OS and this was a good reminder that just because my mobile app/site works well on my fancy phone, it might work hardly at all for most people.

In watching what's happening with and I'm beginning to wonder if we've moved past the post-corporation period of time in the tech industry. Are they even needed, in a world where decentralization exists? I think about my goal of eventually transitioning to a community-run, non-profit organization. This model makes so much more sense for all parties involved.

@Edent I think it's valid to "wear the colours" of those you are allied with. I wear a trans flag badge but I'm not trans. I think I'll copy your idea of using Mx, for the same reason I tell people my pronouns - to make telling people your pronouns normal.

On a related note, I'm vegan, my wife is not, almost every time the waiter will offer the vegan meal to her first. General based assumptions are weird.
