@beer_mat_movies - I think the limit tends to be about 1500 characters, which should be beermat-range haha.
I have been able to do it easily enough from the main Mastodon desktop expanded layout and on my phone, via the Metatext app. And I am very much the kind of idiot that needs things to be explained in "an idiot's guide" format.

Anyone else noticed that a lot of the film critics who spend most of their time on social media tend to deliver a final film review very much in line with how their expectations and preconceptions were leaning anyway?
Or am I being too cynical??

@thudfactor - I wasn’t referring to genre preferences, and that has backfired spectacularly when they have tasked a reviewer to cover a film from a genre they have long stated was one of their least favourites.

@thudfactor - I agree with you there, and good reviewers make their preferences clear so you can know how their opinion is informed.
I guess I am more on about the people who would be likely to spend time on social media using words such as "stan" and saying stuff like "[insert movie title here] is life". They then unsurprisingly match that pre-release hype with their review.

@thudfactor - ha, maybe that's the majority of the ones I take issue with, but a few reviewers straddle the line between that kind of approach and more legitimacy. Despite maybe not deserving the extra weight given to their words.

Magic Cop is by 88 Films, which have been bringing quite a lot of classic Hong Kong films to Blu-ray these past couple of years.

I have so much to look forward to (including some boxsets, Funky Forest, and Zokki). Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes was a great new discovery, thanks to them.

    How to migrate from one Mastodon server to another without losing followers:
