Lamppost EV chargers are the answer to how you charge your vehicle in cities.

This is possible because when energy intensive street lamps were replaced by LEDs, there’s excess power for charging EVs.

All cities should do this. ⚡️

    A heartbreaking moment that was saved by an SS photographer at Auschwitz II-Birkenau during the deportations of Hungarian Jews. It was taken 80 years ago, most likely in late May 1944. A little child finds a dandelion in the grass and is handing it or showing it to an older boy.

    @StillIRise1963 @jawarajabbi Canada is boycotting rn a monopoly grocer Loblaws that has been raking in profits while price gouging. It has been effective. It’s still ongoing & already agreed to sign a grocer code of conduct they refused before. I went in hoping to buy loss leaders of products I need (stuff so discounted they lose money) & most of store was ‘on sale’ and heavily ‘discounted’.
    It’s the first consumer action I’ve ever seen Canadians do that I can remember. I can see the effect.

    Fast food got to where it is by being significantly cheaper than everyone else.

    Now that fast food costs about the same as fast-casual, why would I pay the same money for less-healthy, worse-tasting food?

    I can go to the deli counter at my grocer and get a cheaper, healthier, tastier meal than fast food offers.
