Im so tired.

A cis friend is moving to Alabama and asked me to come visit this summer.

I explained with links, maps, and about 7 paragraphs why it would be a really really bad idea for a trans person to visit AL.

She had no idea. Literally no idea that shes MOVING somewhere that its kinda legal to kill me. She is going to LIVE there and doesnt know whats going on politically.

This is why we feel so alone in this fight.

Cuz a lot of the time we are.

Ima go do some dabs and take a nap.

When we laugh at amazon showing us more toilet seats after we buy one we're missing the point.

Its trying to make you second guess your choice. To make you dissatisfied with your purchase so next time you'll try to avoid the dissatisfaction by spending more.

Capitalism needs a constantly dissatisfied and unhappy population to constantly buy shit they dont need but feel they do.

Just like it needs the threat of homelessness to force people into undesireable and inhuman jobs.

Being #trans in the US right now is a lot like being raised by an abuser(R) and an enabler(D).

The authority and violence of the abuser is apparent. It causes pain sometimes but mostly is causes fear.

The enabler's indirect cooperation with the abuser leaves room for false hope that they might suddenly turn around and oppose the abuser.

As the abuser causes constant low key fear, the enabler plants a seed of toxic hope that we cling to thinking it a comfort rather than another poison.
