@Ardubal Don’t put me to an exam. Perhaps you know facts an figures that I don’t have. What we do know is that the lengthy process to build nuclear power plants eats half a human generation, costs trillions and generates all sorts of pollution. On top of that there’s the nuclear waste. We shouldn’t take that path. Better use wind and water power and as much solar as we can put on rooftops.

@Aagje Heel duidelijk. Grandioos. Ik zal er ook altijd zijn voor iemand met een depressie of verslaving. Ik ben nooit verslaafd geweest, maar heb een 25 jaar durende chronische zware depressie achter de rug.

"Reuters, this is NOT a highway. It is the last bit of a 2 km stretch of 70 km/h 4-lane road, that ends in the city of The Hague. There have been months long maintenance works on that road, never leading to huge congestions, for there are numerous other routes available. It's the Dutch Government that wants to make the activists look bad. But they don't. And they won't. Please keep that in mind when hearing about Dutch protests again."

In Den Haag haben Klimaaktivisten erneut eine Autobahn lahmgelegt - den achten Tag in Folge. Sie forderten den niederländischen Staat auf, umweltschädliche Subventionen abzuschaffen. Die Polizei nahm 650 Menschen fest.

@tagesschau Bitte, Tagesschau, an dieser stelle ist dieser Weg kein Autobahn mehr. Schon für etwa 2 kilometer ist es eine 70 Stundenkilometer-strasse. Will man euch glauben lassen dass die Aktivisten was falsch machen? Das will die NL Regierung gerne.

@breadandcircuses 'America' (that is to say: the USA) is in the hands of their present republican caretakers a backward country, a 'shithole' as Trump would put it. And lots of their ways of thinking get exported to not so backward countries, who then become backward countries, e.g. The Netherlands. Please keep the republican religious fanatism and medieval doctrines on your side of the ocean.
