I am usually not one to talk about myself, but yesterday I was voted in as captain of my local rfs brigade

having only been a member for 6 years, it's been a bit of a quick rise, with a tonne of training and response and everything in between, from painting our shed to cleaning toilets

hopefully I can live up to the role and continute the effort that has gone into the last 85 years of the brigade!

It’s Monday!! It’s also the three year anniversary of the release of the Mastodon-famous song “It’s Always Monday On The Moon”

I had to choose three songs out of thirty I liked, so ultimately I had to choose based on these factors:

  • the music I liked when I was 14
  • would I still like it played in reverse
  • odd/even seconds duration
  • did birds alight on my balcony while I was listening
  • do I already own a t-shirt suitable for a concert where said song is performed
  • would the song still exist in the Non-Shit Timeline

For those trying to work out the puzzle in CONF, there are 3 pianos: one that plays through the entire song, one that plays in bits and pieces, and one that starts a few measures in and plays until the end of the song. The encoded message is buried in the third one.
