@anthropy That's unreal, not even commercial models have the capabilities to do that, the fact that open source models have gone that far just goes to show the power of open source.
Real skeletons were used in the movie Poltergeist in 1982 because it was actually cheaper and more cost-effective than creating and using plastic fake ones. JoBeth Williams was not made aware that there were real skeletons were used in the scene until after she finished shooting it.
@badlogic As someone who goes there from time to time, I can say that it just feels buggy, I don't know how to describe it, so I'll give you an example, if you click to go to your profile before the app has finished loading, it throws an error message, and the only way to fix it is to clear the cache, strange to think that Mastodon, which started as a fun side project, has a more professional feel to it than something a multimillion dollar company could pull off.
'ChatGPT use shows that the grant-application system is broken' https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-03238-5 - I'd go further; that LLMs can fool bureaucracies with bullshit shows the role of bureaucracy has never been to properly order and regulate, but simply to obfuscate the location of real power
@danmcquillan As someone who uses ChatGPT more then they should, I have to say, if you know what you are doing it is a really great tool to cut through the burocratic bullshit they expect you to do, if you go a step further and consider ChatPDF, you can get any information out of a 300+ page document in seconds, my main problem with it is not the applications of it, is how people use it to think for them, and how it is proprietary.
Can't we just agree that both sides are wrong? The Israelis just sort of took the land from the Palestinians, and the Palestinians have killed lots of innocent Israeli civilians over the years.
Ok, you can use atprotocol to activity pub bridges to make up for most of the downsides of the bluesky client, beaware tho, it's still VERY buggy, and errors constantly.
Heres the one i found: https://skybridge.fly.dev/ #bluesky#mastodon#blueskybridge
Wow, who could have predicted that the genetics company wouldn't have strong security? I'm genuinely impressed with the amount of trust people have towards those "techy" and "futuristic" companies. Another example would be Neuralink, we've all seen the news about it. Don't trust companies just because what they do seems cool. I hate that we have to state the obvious. #genetics#companies#trust#neuralink#23andfuckme#23andme
