If a company branded itself with Pride colors in the past but stopped this year? Stop shopping there during June. Their "support" was never more than a way to get our dollars during Pride Month as it was, but their decision to abandon the LGBTQ community when things got a little spicy for them underscores their cynicism and cowardice.

    @DrALJONES The British top brass saw it as an opportunity to get rid of the Jews, something Europeans had been trying to do for thousands of years, and something they'd claim to be against the Germans doing later. They didnt care about what would happen to Palestinians.

    Balfour himself, in an address to parliament, admitted it. He wanted the Jews gone. The "Jewish state" was established by anti semitism, and white supremacy.

    Here's an article on the anti semitism of the British government at the time. Balfour himself not that earlier wrote a law that aimed to curtail Jews immigrating to the empire. I believe it was the Alien Act of 1905. The speech itself is kinda hard to find, but if you look in the direction of the Alien act you should find it.
