The first of the dahlias are coming up. This year I remembered to pinch out the plants to make them bushier so I get more flowers and they aren’t so tall. I will still need to stake them though. #dahlia #gardening

@ai6yr i do the one nail per day method. Kind of how i cut my kid’s hair when he was little and very busy. One snip a day and eventually it equals a haircut.

This is Tori. Nine weeks old. My neighbor’s new canine companion in training puppy. She will train and socialize her for 1.5 years and then give her to someone that needs her desperately. She has the best temperament- sweet and patient.

A story in 3 photos. A super cool chicken farm with a roadside egg, honey, and butter stand. Pay $0.25 for chicken feed. Happy chickens break out of the ranch (plus some sparrows) and come on over for snacks. Brilliant marketing department.

Mouse-Mouse discovers applewood slow cooked in the oven bacon (cooked for 3 hours - so it caramelizes) and his world has changed for the better. Same — Mousey. I feel the same. (It’s only a teeny bite - that’s too much sodium for big bites.)

Oxalis is underrated as a landscaping plant! The bees love it. Edible (in small quantities... though probably wouldn't eat these, the dog also likes marking it, ha ha)

Continuing to help another family with a missing family member (German tourist who was likely a victim of crime in South Africa -- but I believe, likely beaten or left for dead off a cliff back in early 2023). No idea if it will be helpful, but families hurt so much for some closure. Satellite imaging is relatively untapped in this area, so far.
