Someone stuck a "trash bin cleaning service" ad on my trash can today. I used to wonder "who cares what someone's trash can smells like--it's a TRASH CAN!" until talking to all of my relatives over the age of 65.

@ai6yr my mother-in-law used to put her old filled up garbage bags into the garage refrigerator until trash day. Family of six. Lots of trash. To this day smelly garbage cans really bug my husband. It’s a thing. I’m thinking trash in the frig isn’t very sanitary but ???

A reminder of who we're dealing with here among Trump supporters. It was early 2016, and I was sitting at a Starbucks in a very expensive ($$$) neighborhood in California, and I heard this (from a man flirting with a group of wealthy women back from horseback riding in fancy gear): "What they really should do to fix this country is take all the Muslims and Jews out into the street and shoot them". You do NOT want these folks back in power.

@ai6yr reading glasses are another thing to add to the emergency kits - especially in the vehicle. I found out the hard way, turned around one night in a remote location, out of cell service, trying to read a paper map, confused at first at why I couldn’t read the stupid map
