Justice #Merchan says he believes that the #jury wants him to repeat a significant portion of the #JuryInstructions.

He will read pages 6-35.

Each page yesterday took him just a little more than a minute, so this will take >30 mins.

Between that & the testimony readbacks, also expected to take >30 mins, there will likely be >1 hour this morning w/the jury in the courtroom, not actively deliberating.

Oh YEAH. On top of the baby goats, the stupid committees, the student talk judging, the teaching, and the conference wrangling I'm supposed to do today, the switchover of my university email to microsoft has left me emailless. I made a first attempt to get it to work with Thunderbird (and failed), but managed to get in to the web version so I'll see if there's anything really urgent. But maybe it's a good thing I don't even have time to worry about email today...

This should be a viral national story in #US. After this team unanimously unionized, Google refused to come to the bargaining table.

A resolution supporting the workers was brought to the city council. The day the workers showed up to testify on the resolution, Google laid off the entire team.

This was the precise instant when YouTube Music employees became aware that we had lost our jobs, as we were addressing the City Council.
