During a nice walk in a park a few weeks ago, we got treated to a bunch of #monarch #butterflies having lunch on some flowers. So pretty! Was happy I had my longer lens with me, though they seemed relaxed enough I could probably have gotten closer.

Well, assembly wasn't as neat & clean as I'd hoped, but hey, it's bloody delicious, lol. Fillings are vanilla crème pâtissière, chocolate crème pâtissière, and lemon curd. "assembled" with a chocolate ganache. All dairy-free!

So lately I've noticed a bug(?) or something with #tusky where when I go to catch up on overnight toots in my personal timeline, it just... skips several hours. No Load More option, no way to view them that I can find, nothing. They show up on the web view and in other apps, so it's not my instance or anything. May have to switch back to #Fedilab. I like Tusky's general feel better, but ugh.

So yeah, heads up to any Tusky users who don't like missing posts.

Anyone local (Halifax, NS) have any interest in an old Commodore 64 with accessories? As far as I know it still works, though I expect a fair number of the floppies don't. No adapter for a modern tv, but those are fairly easy to come by. Free to a good home. I can probably ship it elsewhere, though it's not light, lol.

I've been on Masto for several years, but not very active. I recently changed instances, and never did an #introduction post before, so here we go!

I'm a photographer based on Halifax, NS, Canada, though my day job is as a software developer. My main interests are, in no particular order, #photography, home #baking & #cooking, #programming, #security, #equality, and #cats. Many others, but yeah.
