ist ja absolut fantastisch! Ein Musterbeispiel dafür, wie man aus einem vermeintlich langweiligen Thema wie und eine macht, die man am liebsten in einem durchgucken würde.

Das Verhältnis von Quantität zu Qualität ist bei mit Abstand am besten. Noch keine einzige Serie da gesehen, die ich nicht super fand.

Do you know of a success story where multiple Teams work in the same monolith? What would be a reason to do so?

@md42 I worked on many monoliths in such a scenario.
When the monolith is structured in a way that allows separate teams to work independently on them (i.e. Bounded Contexts), it works like a charm.

There are many reasons to do this:

  • A single deployment unit reduces complexity
  • In-memory calls are faster and more reliable than network-communication between microservices
  • governance, logging, monitoring are much easier

Those are just a few from the top of my head.

I like Obsidian, but for simple Note-taking and reminders (that’s what I associate Evernote with) I think it’s a bit too complex. It’s more of a knowledge management tool.

A good use case is: you want to write a book/article and need to structure your sources/plot/characters and their connections.

A journalist tooted a picture of him preparing for a Zoom meeting and around 20 Turbonerds dragged him for not using an open source tool instead.
