Carro [ˈka.ro] resembles the English "car", both originated from the Gaulish "karros." However, it also means "cart," which could lead to confusion in some countries. Proper pronunciation is crucial too, it could be understood as caro [ˈka.ɾo] "expensive."

Auto is simply a shortened form of automóvil "automobile.
"Coche" [ˈko.t͡ʃe], seem strange to English speakers, it is derived from the name of a Hungarian village, Kocs, but it is the same root as in "coach".

Classifying the etymologies of "strawberry" across languages is quite challenging: In contrast to other Germanic languages were the berry is linked to concepts of earth, ground or soil, The English word is linked to "straw". Similarly, Hungarian "földi eper", Latvian "zemeņu", and Finnish "mansikka" also refer to it as "earth berry," likely through loan translations.

Migrating populations bring with them not only new forms of art, technologies, and words but also introduce various animals and seeds. The arrival of Muslims in medieval Spain was not merely a propagation of a new religion; it also introduced a new fruit known as “al-barqūq", which translates to plum. It’s noteworthy that Arabs adopted the term from Greek, and Greeks borrowed it from Latin. That fruit was apricot.
