Most white folk in this country will vote for Trump.🤷🏿‍♂️

So when you type on the internet that Trump is a fascist, and that "we" must do everything to stop him, that's weird to me. Because most of y'all know that most of your family will be voting for him. And your relatives that plan to vote for him, will vote harder than the ones that think he's a fascist.🙂🙃

How selfish do you have to be, to expect Black folk that suffer from the racism that you demand, to save you from your own family?

Get off the internet, go downstairs, talk to your racist mom. Don't try to curse me out over TCP/IP, if you wouldn't have that same energy if you saw me in 3D.

If you don't have a friend that was shot to death by police? If you haven't been in the car with me when I've been pulled over? If you've never paid the lawyer's retainer of someone that was falsely accused and sitting on Rikers? Then don't try to tell me what I must do.

White folk online have cursed me out, called me stupid, typed out their violent fantasies about what's going to happen to Black men once Trump gets back in power, and then blocked me.

All because I refuse to tell that 20% of Black men that are done with Biden, to vote for him.

One-way solidarity sucks, and I'm not going for it.

And the "less than half of white women voted for Trump" is a silly statistical sleight of hand.

It's a rehash of the 2016 "debunking" that said "Y'all say a majority of white women voted for Trump, but it's not true! It was slightly less than half!" But that's a scam.

Because the debunking showed that the 52% Trump was really closer to 47%. The scam is that most people assume that means Clinton got 53%, but it doesn't. 3rd party etc. Clinton still got less than 47%.

And make a spreadsheet of your white family members. Keep adding extended family members until you get to 100 white family members total.

Given that nationwide, 60% of white folk will vote for Trump, have someone that knows statistics tell you the probability that any 100 white person family will have more Biden voters than Trump voters, and if that probability is more or less than 50%.

And before you pretend that all Trump voters are in the South, know that only TX has more than CA.

🤦🏿‍♂️These franchises "do well," for a reason? All the Mad Max movies together did $540 million at the box office. Mad Max Fury Road was $380 million of that by itself. It's also the most critically acclaimed of all the Mad Max movies, scoring both the highest critics score(97%), and audience score(86%).

George Miller created Mad Max, so he can do what he wants with it. What he wants to do, is tell stories like Fury Road and Furiosa.

He only "ruined it," for a subset of angry dudes.🤷🏿‍♂️

My only issue with it at all, is making fun of people's appearance in general is not good. But don't interpret that as me criticizing Crockett's criticizing MTG's appearance in response.

Yes, this is very different then if Crockett had just made this comment out of the blue. That would be wrong. Here, she was making a very specific point. Yes, it's still hurtful to other people who might feel insulted by this.

Most of the people who have detailed feedback on how Crockett could have responded proportionally without resorting to making fun of MTG's appearance, have never, not even once, come to the defense of a Black woman being attacked publicly.

Black folk are supposed to have a superhuman ability to receive insults, never get mad, always respond proportionately, and never escalate beyond the point of the initial insult. But it doesn't always work that way.

The most ridiculous thing about US notions of decorum, is that people are expected to be silent when Black women are attacked.🤷🏿‍♂️

If a Black woman is attacked and no one says anything, it's allowed to slide. But if a Black woman is attacked and people say anything in response, either calmly and politely like AOC did, or with an in-kind response like Crockett did, then all the "neutral" parties come pouring out of the woodwork, worried about "decorum."

NYPD budget is $12 billion a year. Billion. The most stolen 2 items in NYC, are 1) cell phone and 2) bike.

NYPD is useless at preventing the theft, or recovering stolen bikes. They're so useless, that they don't even recognize one of the most common heavy duty bike locks. NYPD is good at beating students though.

Suppose your bike was stolen. You call 911. The cops show up, beat you senseless, charge you with resisting arrest, don't recover your bike, and leave.😮

A) Yes! Bike theft is out of control!

B) No! I love having my stuff stolen!

If you choose "A," NYPD budget increases to $13B a year, and you still don't get any reduction in bike crime, but you do get 9% more beatings! 🤡

And now anytime someone complains about cops brutalizing people, they will say "But we asked NSalwen, and they like what we do! They want more of it!" 🤡

No, they don't. They can't. As I've pointed out in other threads.

Because to solve murders, you need to citizens to call the cops. They won't call the cops if they don't trust you. They can't trust you if you employ a few dozen homicide cops, and a few thousand "harass Black people with racism every day," cops.

US policing increases the murder rate. This has been shown since the 70s.

I don't believe you. I do believe you've written your senator or representative, but I don't believe that you made the very specific point that I made above: If you don't change your support of these policies that are so harmful to Black people, that I will stop supporting you.

In short, your Senator or Representative can safely ignore these pesky Black issues.

Am I wrong? I'd be very happy to be wrong! But I've poked on this a lot over the past 6 years and haven't missed yet

But then don't ever try to tell the extra 10% of Black men sick of Biden, what they should and shouldn't do. Worry about what you should and shouldn't do first.

80% is what you get from Black men for this election. 85% if we're feeling generous!

If that's not enough to win, blame yourself.
