At Brown's Social in downtown #VictoriaBC with my friend, Natalie. She's a horticulturalist, living in Deep Cove. We had some eats & drinks before going across street for PechaKucha Night VOL. 20.

They played #GenX tunes, the whole time we were there. We lucked out on getting street parking, one block away. Then lucked out on empty patio, on arrival. We had our own fire table 🥰

1st dragonboat races, happening on May 26. I have to be on location all day, as when I'm not paddling in race, will be doing drum/beat calling for races I don't paddle in. @skye I'm glad you posted about what kinda boats orcas actually hit & they aren't billionaire owned ones. Actually, been talking to longtime whales specific scientists in my area of BC/PNW & none of us are very happy about how orcas are injuring themselves to death by hitting boats with their bodies. I am actually very worried because behaviour is abnormal & it has caused many whale deaths & whale disabilities - that media doesn't report about.

I know some of you totally hate all #CountryMusic. I grew up with mostly old timey & some contemporary country music because my Mom enjoyed that & pop music. Dad was more of a blues & rock person. Mom discovered Alan Jackson in early 90s. She loved getting Dad, me & my brothers to dance & sing along to Itty Bitty, at our past annual BBQ Summer backyard bash, before we started yard games fun.
I miss dancing with my Dad - he only danced with Mom & me - his whole life.

I don't have 'controversial' opinions - like weak right wingnuts like to say about me.
I have strong personal, disabled POC woman opinions. They developed via my own life experiences & witnessing injustices as 3rd party.
I don't consider it controversial to stand up/speak up for injustices. I find it controversial, when people don't do that. I find people who don't do that to be cowards in several areas of life too.

People who refuse to live true to their own core values are all cowards.

@MatWright I have a heavy phone appointment with BC Health patient services complaints & I requested manager/supervisor attend meeting too. Is there any covid related concerns that you want me to mention, during my lengthy phone meeting? I'm still dealing with BC Emergency Comms screwing up on night my Dad died & me & family were extra traumatized by bully antimasker cop - who is president of Saanich Police Union. I found that out, after he traumatized us, in our own home, while Dad was dying.
