Something awry with today’s Observer newspaper. A Q&A with Rowetta (Manchester singer with Happy Mondays etc.) seemingly published with the answers from actor Mathew Horne. Rowetta gains a Norwegian wife, a baby son, and (most unlikely of all) a love of Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Hello! My friend @JanetWordsmith and I are looking for Mastodon's editing community.

Kind and lovely (and happy) folks who raise an eyebrow at participles that dangle, splicing commas, verbs that don't align with subjects, (etc) while keeping the writer's voice.

Much of Buxton town looks like that! Beautiful inside too with a creaky old spiralling staircase from cellar to attic and a comfy chair in each room of books.

I love that Mastodon has that thing where someone interacts with you, then you check them out, find out they're cool, follow them, and check out their boosts and find out they follow cool people so now you follow those other cool people as well and now you follow a whole bunch more cool people.
