X formerly Twitter is also a wealth of disinformation, there are others, I don't see X getting the same actions against it. The Russian bot problem is everywhere, this is a cyber security issue. This is why cyber security exists. Perhaps the real reason is that Congress fears young people getting involved in the political system and grassroots movement that they cannot control.

It's easy for Israel to strengthen their hand at the bargaining table with Hamas by just arresting Palestinians for whatever they like. Appears to be a form of intimidation, psy-op, and control. Imagine bad cops but times a hundred.
