@jimmyb So I went and spent like an hour with the Z Fold 5 yesterday (also tried the flip, not as interesting for me).

The Fold is a tempting option for a next phone 😬

Might have to buy out my iPhone though just to hold onto and have options.. just in case.

A part of me wants to try a folding phone - but then I realize:

  • Apple Watch wont work
  • Means switching back from iOS (didn't last long previous attempt)
  • Fears of screen fragility

@jimmyb 2 questions - Im considering (possibly) the 14 Pro IF there's no good deal on the 15 Pro later this year, maybe even up-sizing.

Do you feel like there's any reason to get the 15 Pro for you as someone who already has a 14?

How do you find the Flip5 to use in terms of durability? Just knowing the inner screen is only plastic (and given I've never had the opportunity to try one), does that screen feel fragile in regular usage?

Recently it’s been the latter, while working my way through &

Both these I’m going with the too (I don’t always, some series I much prefer with ), so that’s also a factor in my slow viewing - more so for newer releases that are still dropping weekly.

@jimmyb ikr! I picked it up with no recommendation, no trailers, just knew of its existence by name and the odd still frame of its characters.

Needless to say I’m glad I gave it a go!

I love that at moments throughout the 8-9 episodes I’ve watched I genuinely don’t know what’s next.

I've been wanting to dual boot my with Linux again but I read that 's M1 doesn't really go with :sadlinux:

Is there a work around already or..? VM also works but I'd rather dualboot :kali_linux:

@stux Asahi Linux is the project (in Alpha still) for Apple Silicon. Though last I heard though its lacking various things.

My on the subscription:

  • It kinda sucks that you only get to “keep” the games as long as you’re subbed
  • 2 games a month that they pick. So what if there’s several months that go by and they’re not games one likes and choses to cancel (see previous)
  • Isn’t the worst if you’re:
  • Looking to try new games without committing to a full price
  • Maybe don’t have many VR games and want to try something new on a rotation and aren’t picky

Just my opinions and 1st thoughts

    @jimmyb I know that feeling. My most recent stint has been trying to not fall behind. Its been years since my last “break”.

    Whenever I do take a break from Raiding & M+ I find myself in this exact spot of thinking about the fee and not getting my money’s worth 😕. Im not good at being a casual wow player 😅

    I wish I had more friends actively playing , cause that’s a game that I can put down and not feel guilty over a sub fee/staying on the bleeding edge.

    I don’t encounter it nearly as much (only having daily driven on a single machine in the recent past). But will still be curious.

    So much and for the next week’s forecast. Hoping to still get out and enjoy some bike rides! But maybe when it’s a little less messy so that I don’t have quite as much cleaning to do.

    I of course am thinking road bike. The and can be as dirty as they want after a ride - I accept the fact that they are only cleanest right as & immediately after being cleaned 😆
