Pink Life QueerFest, an LGBTI+ film festival organized by the Pink Life Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite and Transsexual (LGBTT) Solidarity Association since 2011 when it was the first in Turkey, was banned by the dictator-appointed Governor of Ankara.
@b9AcE I live in the good ol god-blessed US of A, and in our state (Utah) they just banned transgender people from using public bathrooms, and also from participating in any school sports. Their newest bit of legislation to to have all books about LGBTQ people removed for good from all state and public libraries, and to have the Ten Commandments manditorily displayed alongside the flag in all schools.
Which are no longer allowed to teach about racism or diversity, by the way. What a great place this is to live. Now I no longer have to wonder what it was like to be alive during the Dark Ages.
Hi everyone. This is 100% not a question I ever thought I would be asking, but does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of panties would be cutest to make a 19 year old straight cis boy wear as a punishment for being bratty?
Yes, I am the boy. No, I have never worn panties before. I also think the "bratty" part is debatable...
I have also been instructed to say "please boost for awareness. I am sorry that I chickened out and did not do this a few months ago, like I originally agreed to"
@waytoocutexox I dunno, panties as punishment? I think that they'd probably feel less like a punishment and more like silky heaven. I'm gay but I have no advice on panties, but if you find some that work for you - go for it. And share with us!
@waytoocutexox Even if you're straight, you should take anyone calling you gay as a huge compliment. For one thing, it really means that they think you're attractive (even though they could never admit that) and for another, it means you get under their skin. That's the best way to handle such remarks.
@iBlame Me three, I'm an old gay crone and I KNOW my very existence threatens people here in Utah who would rather LGBTQ folk simply stop existing. And that's why I love it - I get under their skin, which makes me very happy to be an old gay crone living in Utah and NOT being quiet about it.
@br00t4c Horrible monstrously sick humans attacking a gay man this way. Of course it will come back to hurt them in the long run; karma is a beast. I'm sure their son is horribly broken by this and will forever be estranged from them. But there's a higher court where these sick monsters will meet their own horrible fates one day.
@br00t4c Monsters who beat up gay people are very mentally ill. They are also very jealous of gay people and they can only think to use violence as a way of striking back. While they are mentally ill monsters, they're very small brained and much more damaged inside. Their own lives are miserable, and they hate anyone who has a better one.
@br00t4c The more a society passes anti-gay laws, the more gay people need to infiltrate and be breaking those laws in every possible way. Bad laws deserve to be flaunted and shit on. No society could survive without a sexually diverse population. Dubai is simply run by a bunch of uneducated cowards, like all places full of homophobic bullshit.
In Utah, an athlete needed police protection after a Republican school board member falsely accused her of being transgender.
"Sports bans will hurt cisgender women" is just one of the many, many predictions the trans community made at the beginning of this moral panic.
Today on Assigned, I declared national We Told You So Day. From violence to attacks on cis women and gays and lesbians, the predictions have been chillingly accurate. #trans#LGBTQ#news
@e_urq I live in Utah and was once again ashamed of the behavior of this school board member (who has made many phobic slurs in her time). Utah is one of the few remaining states where bigotry and hate go not only unchecked, but are actively cultivated by the culture (oddly enough founded by people who themselves claimed to be escaping from religious persecution).
I still don't get what the fuck this trans phobia is all about. Of course I never understood homophobia either, it's all so based on ridiculous bigoted nonsense. But the idea that trans people who participate in sports somehow have an "unfair advantage" is not only incorrect, it is a glaring fallacy. It's all so utterly stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
