I always try to differentiate, having read quite a bit of history of the #BritishIsles. 😉
However, not living there, I can rarely do better than none-yellow-press journalists.
(I was recently appalled that a British journalist of #TheEconomist contrasted the #UK with #Europe, though he clearly meant the #EU, and the Isles are clearly part of the #European continental shelf.)
