I came across this charming car with a cherry blossom design in the heart of Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, New York CIty. The find was fitting since there were many cherry blossom trees in the area when I stumbled upon the car on April 23, 2024.
This week I'm wrapping up the audio of Let The Great World Spin by Colum McCann. This is the second audiobook in a row for me with truly raw depictions of people just scraping by and trying to make the best of their situation. Tillie's narration is heartbreaking. Next audio read needs to be something not so heavy.

In a new interview with Riff X's "Metal XS", SLAYER guitarist Kerry King, who relocated to New York City less than three years ago, spoke about how he is preparing for his upcoming tour with his solo band after not playing any shows since 2019.
“It’s, like, some people play Candy Crush on their phone. I play ‘Dinner Reservations,’ ” he said. “It’s just a way to pass the time.” Last year, he made eighty thousand dollars reselling reservations.
