L’idée serait de pouvoir utiliser Komoot dessus à la limite sachant que j’ai pas d’ordi sur moi…
J'utilise #Osmand sur le téléphone. Tu peux lui demander d'allumer l'écran uniquement quand c'est nécessaire (changements de direction). En ville il s'allume très souvent mais en voyage tu peux pédaler longtemps sans tirer sur la batterie. Parce que l'écran consomme beaucoup.

@Nerd@Hypatia@Kaffee_Junkie42 Mit #OsmAnd Edits bin ich nie warm geworden. Was ich allerdings gerne mache ist dann ein kurzes Video aufzeichnen und daheim noch mal alles nacharbeiten. Da fällt einem noch die ein oder andere Kleinigkeit auf.

I've made a little application to convert the sharing links from #OrganicMaps to Google Maps which I open in this example, but there's no need in practice, I just have to share it with whoever I want!
Aufgrund von diverser Zipperlein habe ich mir jetzt auch ein E-Bike zugelegt. Altes Modell, mit altem Modell vom Steuercomputer - Kiox (ohne Smart) heißt das Ding.
Der kann mit Spezial-App auf dem Handy auch Navigationsanzeige...
Ich hab jetzt inzwischen die Handyhalterung an den E-Bike-Lenker gebaut ... und hab mich am Samstag schon mit #OSMAnd durch die Stadt navigieren lassen.

QT @pluralistic - Hard to overstate how enshittified Google Maps has become. Went looking for my local locksmith. Gmaps shows 20+ fake locksmith referral scam outlets and doesn't even register the real locksmith, despite being fully visible in Street View.
Instead, a red pin on the shop identifies it as a fake locksmith scammer. The real locksmith - which has been there SINCE 1942 (!!) and is a verified merchant - doesn't even show up.

@losttourist@atomicpoet@organicmaps I seem to remember that the movie was filmed in California's Mojave desert -- which mostly has no cellphone reception once you get away from the interstate. Poor/no cell reception, especially for data, is very common in the US desert southwest. I use #OsmAnd which has offline maps (and paper #maps are fun too).

I have an old Aftershokz and audio is decent, but sub-par music listening experience when compared to my other headsets. No wind-noise protection, but you get to hear what's going on around you, while receiving guidance or notification from a phone.
I like pairing it with the #OsmAnd app, for turn-by-turn navigation, and when I want to follow custom GPX tracks.
I wear a helmet, glasses and mask with it, and no issues whatsoever.
@kuketzblog#Osmand (+) als Schweizer Messer in allen Bereichen - nur die KfZ Navigation auf langen Strecken ist bei der Routenkalkulation doch sehr langsam. Da ist #MagicEarth mein Favorit - auch wegen der Stauinfos.
@kuketzblog#OsmAnd aus dem F-Droid-Store, hauptsächlich als Fußgänger. Das hat einfach alle für mich benötigen Funktionen und größtmögliches Detailreichtum auf den Karten. Aber auch spezielle Einstellungen, wie zum Beispiel Routing „ohne Treppen“, würde ich woanders vermissen. Auch ist die #OSM-Bearbeitung von POIs einfach und schnell erledigt. Und dir Karten werden offline und als Vektorkarten dargestellt. Es fehlt mir eigentlich nichts. Und falls doch, die Entwicklung geht weiter …

GMaps: falls ich von POIs z.B. Öffnungszeiten nachschauen will. Verlässlichere Daten.

Da waren u.a. die Fortbewegungsart, Datenqualität, Funktionsvielfalt + #Datenschutz wichtige Faktoren.
Allerdings ist es bei der Umfrage nicht so ganz gelungen, eine sinnvolle Vergleichsgruppe außerhalb von #Fediverse und Gnulinux-Leserschaft zu erreichen.
Oggi è stato un pomeriggio prolifico su #OpenStreetMap. Ho aggiunto delle rampe nella piazza pedonale della città confinante e il routing per gli utenti in sedia a rotelle è migliorato sensibilmente.

Are there any good apps to use as a replacement for google maps? It’s the only google service I’m still using.
