There are SO MANY more covers I love, but I kept it to five. This hashtag is really fun to scan through. So many great lists, and some tracks I'd NEVER heard of. Gonna be listening a good chunk of the night 😁
What’s the best punk rock performance you’ve ever seen? (either live or in recording) Personally, No Pressure is probably my favorite band I’ve ever seen in person, but I love blink-182’s 2004 concert at Camden which you can watch here.
The Interrupters are probably the biggest new name in ska punk, and they really deserve it! I love every album they've put out (especially Say It Out Loud) and I think they might be on the verge of breaking out into the mainstream. Here's one of my favorite tracks from them performed live at the Warped Tour in 2016!
Reaching out to some of the people I was socializing with on my #SKA Carnarvon trip because I rather liked some of the ideas we'd been chatting about. This includes googling and stalking on LinkedIn because I don't have all their contact details, and.. wow. Turns out I was hanging with some proper heavy hitters and I didn't even know it!
@toddo Great advice! I hope a lot of people see this.
I had a irl friend and long time participant in a music sharing FB page I used to have tell me he lost a lot of respect for me because I once said I liked Sublime 😂 Music snobbery is something I’ve never tolerated.
A full #JodrellBank turn-out today to celebrate the #100thBirthday of our former Director and #AstronomerRoyal, Professor Sir Francis Graham-Smith. Wonderful anecdotes and science recollections from former Jodrell Bank Director, Andrew Lyne, #SKA Director General, Phil Diamond, current Astronomer Royal, Martin Rees and Director of the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy, Michael Kramer. Graham himself was in fine form and made only one "simple" request: find out #pulsars work! #Happy100

What were the first three albums that really got you into punk rock?
My first three that I can recall were:...
