Doing some gardening yesterday and Hubby starts to hack away at a bush he thought was too big...Noooooo! That is the one that attracts the most hummingbirds! He left it alone. :)
I have sent an emergency chat to my sister @ccellis to ask if these are possibly for real, as I want them so bad it's actually physically painful (I am a dork).
Walking into the bustling food pantry to drop off this week's harvest had me weeping as I drove away.
As I'm giving the harvest and itemizing it for the staff, a woman asks for two of the bags of green beans being loaded into the fridge and all the food, minus one squash, from last week are gone.

@benben Hi 👋🏼 Ben! Fellow #Gardener here. I started out of a desperate need to help my OCD when I retired early to be home with my boys. 6 years later I’m still a novice. @ai6yr and @gardeningwell are wonderful follows for gardening advice.
After a sunny morning a grey afternoon. View across the width of the garden. Very satisfying to think that only a few years ago there was nothing except grass, the trees and the hedge in the distance.
One of the areas of grass, which has not been cut once yet this year, has turned into a #meadow of Lesser or Common #knapweed (Centaurea nigra) and #Yarrow. Both plants are among the top nectar producers, loved by insects and also birds.
Hello from the #garden! #Breezy day, partly cloudy with a lot of sun. Nowhere near as #windy as forecast. I reckon gusting F6, #MetOffice thought thundery, gale force winds (F8). (So far, at least.)
