In another week, I will be harvesting hostas to cook/eat 👩🌾
My mixed perennials pot is bursting with new life. Tulips are starting to bud/bloom, columbine are growing new foliage & buds & my pruned burgundy lace cap hydrangeas are showing new growths 🥰
First time growing Rainbow Glass Popcorn from Real Seeds. Not the greatest weather for ripening up sunshine hungry crops this year in the UK, but I got a couple of cobs. It's fun, so I'll try my luck again next year and hope for a better summer in 2024. #Bloomscrolling#OrganicVegetables#KitchenGardening#GardenersofMastodon#UKGardens
...not for good reasons though. Wish this would stop happening every year. Glad we're finally getting some coverage of it though; you'd think after the arson last year there would've been at least some attention.
The #CallaLilies my friend Nadene gifted us have bloomed. Lovely yellow with pink. Transplanted to bigger pot & they're by my little free community library in front of our home.
One of my client's shaded flower beds, installed earlier this season, is filling out nicely. Coleus, begonias, impatiens, and caladiums - these will all last through the end of October here in Georgia.
