First, my nails were feeling kinda weak just due to all my experiences prior to polygel. I decided to give them a break from stuff a while ago. However, my nails kept snagging and pulling on things and causing MORE problems.
Plus even with cuticle care and maintenance my cuticles for some reason just absolutely go to shit when I don't have anything on my nails. My former nail tech told me this is actually really common, so, interesting.
Was sick of them looking terrible so I decided fuck it, polygel time.
I didn't like the dual forms I used last time. The c-curve does not match my nails. Decided to attempt the paper/sticker forms. I really liked them! Super duper easy to use.
Set aside the entire evening and really took my time. Didn't go very long on the extension, just a bit.
Loving how they look. And they feel quite sturdy. So, we shall see how they do!
I have decided I really need to start taking better care of my nails.
It's all part of like, overall feelings of worthiness and stuff. Complicated feels!
So tonight I sat down and swatched (most) of my gel polish colors. I have some gellish colors I need to swatch still but I don't like them as much cuz the colors aren't as vibes as these.
Two summers ago, I came upon a "free" pile on the sidewalk in my neighborhood. I took home a classic-type kid's tricycle (that my friend's 2+ year old will be trying out this week!) and a beautiful steel pail full of nails. These are a few of the nails.#blackAndWhite#nails#photography

Finally did my nails for Pride Month (I really like the polish I had on before ok)! Also because I did one hand with Trans Pride colours and one with Non-Binary, you get the rare photo of my other (aka right) hand lol
OC It's Winter here in Australia. These are my snowflake nails that I painted for my day-trip to the Snowy Mountains last year.

Wow, looking back, these were some awful color choices on my part. What are some of your worst nail blunders?
