Es ist ein warmer Sommerabend im August 2022, das Licht ist gleißend. Die Sonne steht tief und scheint die Spree entlang in die Unterführung. Ab und zu drängelt sich eine Wolke dazwischen und es kehrt diffuse Normalität in die Lichtstimmung.
Ich habe heute Abend eigentlich einen langen Spaziergang im Sinn, bleibe aber stehen, als ich die Silhouetten der Menschen vor der plakatierten Wand sehe. Ein Plakat schreit "GOOD NEWS". Die Menschen treiben ihren Schatten vor sich her. Andere werden von ihm getrieben. Manche Schatten sehen ihren Besitzern ähnlich, andere nicht. Heute lasse ich die anderen die 10000 Schritte machen und bleibe einfach stehen, bis die Sonne hinter der Stadt verschwindet.

Speaking of Among Us streamers in my last post, my fave pov in the Hafu lobbies was always 5up. His channel emotes are super cottagecore, they’re called leaflings and I kind of had to sew one. I had no choice, they’re adorable and I love the concept.
I find thread painting difficult because you have to keep track of so many colours, but it looks so lovely when it’s done —Well worth the tired brain cells🪴
#ThrowBack picture to that time 20 some-odd years ago we went to the Boston Harbor Islands with my nephew and a bunch of kids thought I was “The Undertaker”, despite my being like 5” shorter and like 100lbs lighter. I hope those kids enjoyed that day
