Yeah, so what? I'd much rather see people doing nice things for attention, than the people who do mean pranks or wasting food. A good deed is still good, even if it's done for the wrong reasons.

I'm watching the Jubilee "middle ground" episode (https://youtu.be/9FCixSEjUJ8?si=DuChJz4SMpmWVCYn) about and something the mum of one of the Autistic folks said sent me off on a "maybe I'm not " imposter syndrome spiral, so I'm gonna vent my issues with it here.

Basically she was talking about Autism being "trendy" now and "the spectrum" including anybody whether they only have sensory issues and nothing else, etc.

That you suffered any time at all with Imposter Syndrome, is bėcause of this. It harms Autistics, and AuDHDers, and those who are trying to banish the myths. @ScruffyDux

@CindyWeinstein Covfefe? Trump was tossing the word salad while he was still President. He'd fold his arms and sulk. He'd fidget if he had to sit still for any length of time. He walked out of meetings. He had Ivanka sit in on matters of State, because he couldn't comprehend half of what was being said - if that much. He sacked anyone who disagreed with him. I'd say the evidence of his unfitness to hold office were there while he was campaigning in 2014/15/16...but nobody wanted to see it.

FYI, you can still get infected with if you have had the vaccine. It does not prevent infection itself. What it prevents is the disease form of measles, which -- with vaccination -- the immune system keeps in check

What we don't know is how and our friend -- a virus that impacts the immune system's ability to keep infections in check -- will end up impacting this

It would be wise, then, to prevent measles infection entirely by filtering it out of the air

@currentbias Funny how #masks keep intruding on all conversations about #Sars_CoV2 aka #COVID19 It's almost as though they keep aerosolised infections at bay...including Measles, and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), which are doing the rounds in S. E. Qld. #BringBackMasks Put HEPA filtration units in hospitals, schools, and shopping centres.

My eyes have been truly opened to the inadequacy of Disabled parking spaces, their lousy placement, and the obvious lip-service paid to this, by abled shopping centre managements.
Where is the space at the back for a ramp, or hydraulic platform, or even to get a wheelchair out of the boot? Why are they situated on the main roadway through the carpark? Why only 2 per entrance...which are spaced approx 100m apart?
Shopping Centre carparks abound with Ayrton Sennas, and Martins (from Proof). Tis as much as ones life is worth, to be an abled pedestrian, much less a dis abled one.😳

If I see one more 'would-be influencer' bemoaning the overuse of mobile phones, I will get very annoyed.
It's like the stupidity of bemoaning the overuse of computers, & the internet. Governments pretty much everywhere have transferred business to online access - thus making both computer devices and internet access essential...pity about lousy connectivity☹

I'm so furious, I'm shaking. The place that people expect to be free of the danger of infection, has infected my son...yet we are advised not to visit him, while he is in isolation!
Worse still, he tested + on the day he was set to go home. Prior to that, very few staff were masked. NOW, they are all masked😡🤦‍♀️
It is infuriating, and deeply upsetting.
This constant anxiety is very bad for my . It pushes my blood pressure up, and shortens my temper. So, my partner keeps copping my bad moods.
Keeping fingers crossed that son's symptoms remain mild, and that he will be disharged from hospital on Monday.
P.S. Gridlock continues in Bris CBD One small disruption, and traffic sits through 3 or 4 changes of light.
