@freemo I'm not a country fan anymore but me and many other people have a term we call "9/11 country".

Before 9/11, country was basically about running from the law, drinking a shitload, smoking grass, or your woman got out of town for good and took all the valuable shit out of the house with her.

After 9/11, it basically turned into war and tyrannical police state propaganda.

I think that's one of the reasons Hootie took off, he was one of the guys that restarted "good times" country.

Most ham radio software is abysmally written in almost every way. It is also rarely open-source so no one wants to help fix it.

And any help you find is on an ancient HTTP that has a 2002 copyright date on it.

And you have to either use Windows 95 or apply multiple compatibility layers and registry edits just to get said programs to execute in the first place. Because god forbid the average ham use an operating system from this millennium.

And don't bother emailing the person who wrote it because he died while Dubya was President.

I mean, I only use 3-4 max, but after give or take 20 years of using computers, I'm pretty fast at it. Those kids are just salty that they're only proficient at using extremely locked down cell phones that are nowhere near as powerful as the average computer.
