Finally got around to finishing the upgrades for my 3000. It now has a BFG9060 and a ZZ9000 in it.
All ready for the public to play on it later this month.

@amszmidt Nope, closed source and commercial (yes, really, in 2024).

In 1994, our puzzle game Clockwiser was released for Amiga (OCS and AGA), CD32 console, MS-DOS and Windows 3.1.

This is the 4-channel music our composer Ramon Braumuller made for a 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 that was included on magazine cover disks.

The tune is 109 kilobytes, including digitized instruments.

Gopherized, my Amiga gopher client, now is able to search for a text in a page, search next and prev are also implemented.

Next step: extend the search function to the text viewer.

The second image shows all the changes/fixes 😀 :amiga:

#Amiga #68k #gopher #AMOS #AMOSProfessional

This show display my log of fixes & changes. It includes several options specified in the configuration file that was read but not applied till now.

@s_bergmann funny, I was just listening to Spotify release radar or smth like that and this came up: https://liesrecords.bandcamp.com/track/enchantress-1200

"I compose hit after hit on my Amiga 1200"

Was thinking about you, scrolled and then your post appeared 😅

It's a start 🤷🏼‍♂️

Can't jump on top of it though, and it'll probably disappear down a recursion singularity if you push one object into another.

But it's a start.

If you jump on top of a block, it drags around with you after that because the gravity movement applied to the player means you’re always colliding with it.

I think I’ll have to resolve the Z movement first and/or possibly in a separate pass to make it behave.

Or maybe a hack where I ignore x, y movement if there is a z collision will do (and be a lot faster).

Chaos Physics this is not. Chaotic … maybe 😁

What was your first OS? Mine was amiga workbench 1.3 Didn’t have a hard disk though, so needed to swap diskettes every time I needed to boot into it. Otherwise I would just see the kickstart in rom boot screen 😁 Ah the days..

@Dodges It depends on what you mean by operating system.

"Arkanoid" was one of my first games on the Commodore Amiga 500 and I was immediately aware of what a wonderful machine I had in front of me ;-) A great arcade conversion.

@retrowelle
The first game I played on my A500 was Tunnel Vision with its incredible speech 😄 (I'm sure it only ran via the Workbench). I've played it a lot because it took some time to get me some games.
Edit: Btw, Arkanoid was great! 😍

retrowelle,
@retrowelle@social.cologne avatar

@iieksi oh the game is from 1986. I didn't know that.

Messing around a bit with .DMS image files using AmigaOS 3.2 and DMS v1.11.

Yeah, I guess I could simply use .ADF files like everyone else, but I think it's a lot more fun to use depricated, oldschool tools. 😉
