Finally got around to finishing the upgrades for my #Amiga 3000. It now has a BFG9060 and a ZZ9000 in it.
All ready for the public to play on it later this month.
If you jump on top of a block, it drags around with you after that because the gravity movement applied to the player means you’re always colliding with it.
I think I’ll have to resolve the Z movement first and/or possibly in a separate pass to make it behave.
Or maybe a hack where I ignore x, y movement if there is a z collision will do (and be a lot faster).
Anybody else who still gets super excited by new, modern, releases for retro systems? Take this, just delivered, fine example - Rogue Declan for the #Commodore#Amiga by Nivrig Games and published by poly.play
What was your first OS? Mine was amiga workbench 1.3 Didn’t have a hard disk though, so needed to swap diskettes every time I needed to boot into it. Otherwise I would just see the kickstart in rom boot screen 😁 Ah the days.. #amiga#retrocomputing
ROGUE DECLAN, winner of the AmiGamJam, 90%+ scoring in ZZap and Amiga Addict, is now available in fantastic boxed editions from @polyplay including CD32 with an all-new CDDA soundtrack.
This issue we celebrate the best #Amiga games and developers from our neighbours in mainland Europe! We're looking at The French Connection with interviews with some luminaries en France like Éric Chahi of Another World fame and François Lionet, creator of AMOS. https://shop.amiga-addict.com#AmigaAddict

The first game I played on my A500 was Tunnel Vision with its incredible speech 😄 (I'm sure it only ran via the Workbench). I've played it a lot because it took some time to get me some games.
Edit: Btw, Arkanoid was great! 😍
